The meeting will be held on 8th and 9th of June 2026, at O101, SDU, University of Southern Denmark and is organized in collaboration with SDU TEK and Physics.

The DFS Annual Meeting is the highlight of the year and brings together physicists from institutes, research groups and companies across the country for two days of exciting plenary talks about the latest research, thematic parallel sessions, a poster session with prizes, a 3-course dinner, socializing and network opportunities. This year, the program offers 11 parallel sessions with subjects such as quantum physics, energy, ultrafast measurements, nuclear and particle physics, solid state physics, astrophysics – as well as contributions from education, geophysics, AI and much more.

For young researchers and students in particular, the annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to present their work to their peers, and we encourage anyone interested to submit an abstract for a short presentation or a poster. Submissions are welcome in all fields of physics. Cash prizes will be awarded to the best poster presentations, and the winners will be presented on our social media as well as in www.kvant.dk.
