13th-14th of November at Nyborg Strand
Registration has now closed.
The Danish Physical Society is a non-profit organization for the physicists of Denmark. We work to further research and support education in the field of physics, and we represent the professional interests of Danish physicists at home and abroad.
The Annual Meeting is the highlight of the year gathers physicists from all over Denmark. The format of the meeting is 1½ days centered around plenary talks on interdisciplinary topics, thematically oriented parallel sessions about the newest research within quantum physics and ultrafast measurements, nuclear and particle physics, solid state physics, biophysics, physics education, and more.
The evening of the first day offers a conference dinner followed by a discussion session on the important topic: Energy for the Future. This will be followed by a poster session at which primarily students and PhD students contribute. A focal point for the meeting is networking across institutions and professional groups and to create a forum where younger students and researchers, in particular, can see what is happening within physics in Denmark. We encourage everyone to submit an abstract, particularly young researchers and students.

For student members the discount is 150 DKK. New members are eligible for the discount too – if you wish to become a member, sign up here.
Abstracts
Apart from invited presentations, there will be a number of contributed talks. We wish to create a special opportunity at the DFS Annual Meetings for younger physicists to present their work to their peers. Anyone (including students) wishing to contribute a presentation should submit their abstract here.
